The raw material for the tatami base is made solely from pesticide-free rice straw.
Due to the traditional method of sewing with thread without using metal fasteners or adhesives during the manufacturing process, it is possible to replace the tatami surface with a new one at any store nationwide, just like with standard tatami. This makes it a long-lasting and economical product.
